Senior Care Assistant
£10.67 to £12.01ph depending on experience. Extraordinary People, Exceptional Care Are you a Senior Care Assistant looking to further develop your skills? Our Senior Care Assistants play a key role in ensuring each person living within our homes receive the care they need to live a fulfilling life. Our focus is on ensuring medication is appropriate and providing meaningful activities to everyone. As one of our Senior Care Assistants, you will be responsible for assessing the individuals needs and formulating person-centred care plans, ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Administering medication safely is paramount, all our senior care assistants are provided with additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medication used in our homes. You must have previous care experience, within Older People’s care or within a dementia setting. It is preferrable to have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. However, if you are qualified to Level 2, we will support you to achieve your Level 3 via our career pathway. You will have access to our Orchard Academy. You will receive bespoke training and support to develop your leadership skills, clinical knowledge and become an advocate for the people we care for. Main Duties To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate a high personalised standard of Nursing care which meets the individuals needs and the high standards expected at Orchard Care Homes.Job tags
