Assistant to Fashion Designer

Job description

This role requires someone who is hands-on enthusiastic and ready to get involved.  This position will require working closely with the Designer / Creative Director on the next collection.  This position will require you to work in the studio based in east London. 

The Role:

• Creating CADS on Illustrator / Tech paks 
• Liaising with factories 

Requirements:

• Excellent CAD skills
• Excellent skills in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Proficient in 3D & 2D CAD
• iMovie skills
• Product development and production experience 
• Strong understanding of good quality garments construction & development 
• Strong understanding of trim terminology and fabric compositions
• Passion for the brand and understanding of the position in the market
• Strong visual communication skills
