Job description
To identify the dependence syndrome and to formulate a diagnosis and management plan in order to treat the disorder. Support for preceptorship independent prescribing and interface with doctor and/or clinical lead. Aiding effective care planning between i-access and other services. Increasingly complex case load holder of Substance Misuse patients. Provide nursing leadership within i-access. Provide supervision and training to other qualified nurses and student nurses. To provide timely assessment of adults with substances misuse problems and provide care planning and support for their pharmacological and treatment plans. To support colleagues in the management of complex cases through formal and ad hoc clinical supervision To practice as a non-medical prescriber and deputise for the Team Manager on clearly defined management and clinical functions as needed. To contribute to ongoing clinical development within the service.
