Job description
Experienced Secretary ./ Administrator to join Board of Trustees for a new upcoming CIO working with anyone (aged 25+) impacted by a cancer diagnosis in the North East and North Cumbria.
What will you be doing?Ideally working with the Board to manage administrative tasks and maintains accurate records. Organise board meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes. The role is mainly virtual but some face to face meetings may be necessary - there is much flexibility around this.
What are we looking for?Previous experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role, preferably within a charitable organisation.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using office software and applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of charity laws, regulations, and governance practices is desirable.
Demonstrated commitment to the organisation's mission and values.
