JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner in Maghull to join a thriving GP surgery job.

You will be joining a forward-thinking and progressive center, with a welcoming clinical team. The role has come because of an ongoing extension, and in that capacity, you will join a diverse and established team of Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and GPs and that’s just the beginning!

Responsibilities

• To perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• You will analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, and counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions

Qualifications

• Valid NMC Pin

• Independent Prescribing

• Recent experience working in a Nurse Practitioner role
• Experience working in Primary Care: GP surgery, Walk-in Centre, Urgent Care Centres, etc.

Skills

• Must hold current license/registration to practice

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information

Experience

• You must Registered Nurse(RN)
• The NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
• Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
