Excellent opportunity for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a growing business based in Witney, offering up to £44,000 plus excellent benefits.
The Role
The 3rd Line Support Engineer role will be responsible for:
- providing 3rd line support to end users and IT infrastructure, working collaboratively in a close-knit IT team
- contributing to ongoing improvement of infrastructure (both on-prem and cloud) to support growth of the business
- managing and monitoring IT systems and tools
- working closely with and managing 3rd party suppliers
- identifying areas for improvement, staying update with latest technology trends and security threats
- taking lead on infrastructure projects
About you
Applicants for the 3rd Line Support Engineer role will have:
- experience working in a similar 3rd line / infrastructure support engineer role
- experience supporting MS Server, VMWare/Hyper-V, MS SQL, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy
- general network skills (e.g. firewalls, switches, patching etc.)
- a self-starter approach with ability to lead on projects
