Systems Support Engineer
Role: IT Engineer supporting field equipment and networks.
Salary: Up to £55,000 (equivalent in SAR)
Location: Saudi Arabia (West Coast)
IT Engineer with experience of maintaining, fault-finding and fixing hardware and networks? Looking for a new adventure outside of the UK and always considered moving to Saudi Arabia?
We're working with a UK based Maritime Hardware business that is looking to hire a technical support engineer to work across their installations and customers throughout Saudi Arabia.
The role will blend technical skills across Windows, AD & Linux environments and also hands on fault-finding and fixing of hardware installations. They're looking for an individual who has had prior experience as a customer facing engineer, or worked in a role that blends hardware, networking and has a real can-do attitude when it comes to ensuring reliable and maintained support and service of products.
The business itself is expanding across Saudi Arabia and expect that the role will be heavily field based so this is certainly a role for someone who enjoys being on the road to provide field support.
Although there isn't a package for explicit relocation (shipping fees, removal etc) they will support the individual with VISA's and also travel and initial accommodation whilst you settle in. On top of this they will provide 2-3 weeks of training in the UK, whether you're UK based OR currently based in Saudi Arabia they will put you up for an intensive training session.
You will work alongside individuals in country and also the UK IT and engineering teams to ensure service and systems are upkept and maintained.
Skills/Traits for success;
Willingness to be deployed and travel throughout Saudi Arabia.
Technical background in;
IT Support & Systems Support.
Knowledge of Windows & Linux OS.
Data centre implimentation and management experience.
Hardware maintenance and fault finding experience.
Experience of producing design (HLD & LLD) documents.
