Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Suffolk

Salary: £45,000

3 Shift pattern including Days & Nights

Synergi are recruiting for an exciting FMCG client! We are on the hunt for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering Team at their Suffolk site. 

The role:

If successful, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the site facilities, layout, and machinery operate at maximum efficiency. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you'll lead the site maintenance function, providing both reactive and proactive electrical skilled maintenance services on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to:

• Be fully qualified in Engineering with a nationally recognised qualification
• Have extensive plant-level experience
• Be able to showcase your diplomacy, objectivity, and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Comfortably fit within the Engineering team to deliver effective, time-sensitive repairs, including prioritisation, weekend PPM, and contractor control
• Be familiar with legislative bodies and instruments and effective supervise within these boundaries
• Have comprehensive knowledge of plant and machinery manufacturers
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and engineering-specific programs
• Be highly resilient and self-motivated
