Senior Building Control Surveyor
Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Control Surveyor to join our team. As the Senior Building Control Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the building control activities within our organization. This is a critical role that requires deep knowledge and expertise in building regulations and codes, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Conducting regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes
Providing technical advice and guidance to architects, engineers, and other professionals regarding building control issues
Reviewing and approving building plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations and codes
Managing a team of building control surveyors and providing guidance and support as needed
Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our building control processes
Conducting investigations and resolving complaints related to building control issues
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations and codes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Building Control or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Building Control Surveyor
Strong knowledge of building regulations and codes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership abilities
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of relevant software and tools for building control
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 08.45
End time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £33.51
Location: North London, London
