Payroll Administrator - Data
Dive into the heart of payroll operations as our Payroll Administrator - Data. This role would be ideal for those at the early stages of their payroll career, eager to apply their strong skills and keen interest in data and technology, to real-world challenges. You'll be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across three dynamic companies. With a focus on data analytics, compliance, and technology enhancement, you'll work closely with our cross-functional people team to refine payroll processes and contribute to our culture of continuous improvement.

Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to
Data analytics, checks, controls and calculations: Work magic with payroll data, helping ensure accuracy in calculations and timely payments; right first time, on-time, every time. Calculate and check overtime, ad hoc payments, and allowances for various business areas. Submit accurate deductions, including private mileage, union fees, and more
Curiosity and standard methodology: Build and maintain a knowledge base of regulations, company principles, and standard processes
Tech minded: Where required, collaborate with payroll vendors, Digital and HRIS teams to enhance our use of technology for efficient HR, absence, and payroll processes
Onboarding and payroll management: Check and prepare data for new starters, changes, and leavers and paperwork with precision
Compliance champion: Conduct HR and payroll audits, controls, and analysis to support compliance and data accuracy
Communication and collaboration: Provide professional, accurate, and timely correspondence with external and internal partners.
What should you bring to be successful in this role
Data/Tech savvy: Advanced MS Excel skills are critical - show us your spreadsheet prowess! Experience with payroll, HR and absence management software is advantageous
Detail and organisation orientated: Happy working with numbers in large volumes, with multiple data sources, showing a high level of attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills
Collaborative and communication: Thrive independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team. Strong written and verbal communication skills and an interest in cross-functional collaboration
Adaptability: Embrace new systems with confidence and explore functionalities with a dedicated, autonomous approach
Experience: Payroll processing experience within a sizeable company is advantageous. However, any payroll experience whatsoever (payroll administrator, payroll specialist, payroll officer etc.), and the willingness to get stuck in to the day to day tasks is the right blend we are looking for.
