Hotel Events job opportunities and pay structure:

• Events Coordinator - £22,260 basic annual salary + gratuity.
• Assistant Events Operations Manager - £23,000 to £24,000  basic annual salary + gratuity.
• Events Operations Supervisor - £22,000 basic annual salary + gratuity.

All these vacancies are full-time and permanent, contracted to 40 hours per week, working at their West Sussex luxury hotel venue.

Requirements

Key attributes / Experience required - Events Coordinator vacancy:

• Coordinating hotel events, private functions, conferences, parties, weddings etc. from start to finish.
• Communicate across all media channels, face-to-face and over the phone.
• Sales focused, able to negotiate, upsell and close a sales opportunity.
• Complete necessary administration and IT functions when using a database / booking package.
• Attention to detail, professional manner, good understanding of confidential issues.
• emotionally robust, can remain calm under pressure.
• OPERA PMS experience is a bonus.

Key attributes / Experience required - Assistant Events Operations Manager vacancy:

• Demonstrate a strong operational track record in hospitality sector.
• Sound knowledge of conference and banqueting operations.
• Highly organised, excellent time management skills and can work within deadlines.
• Customer focused, enthusiastic, can remain calm under pressure.
• Experience supervising or managing a team, training, developing and motivating team members.

Key attributes / Experience required - Events Operations Supervisor vacancy:

• Enthusiastic, dedicated and genuinely passionate about food, drinks, and people.
• Excellent customer care skills and attention to detail.
• Supervisory experience within hospitality sector.
• Fantastic communication skills, and team leading ability.
• Good time management, and ability to remain calm under pressure.

With all vacancies you must have your own car or transport to get to the location, as there are no reliable public transport links.

You must be able to complete a face-to-face interview at the hotel venue, you must be a valid UK passport holder or have settled status to be able to live and work in the UK.
