Part time Office Assistant and Receptionist

Job description

We are a small friendly company and are looking to welcome someone to join our team at Microtech Services (Wessex) Ltd.

The hours for this position are 8.30am - 4.30pm - 2 days per week (usually Tuesday and Friday) but with the opportunity to increase to additional hours.

The duties are:
Perform clerical duties including answering phone calls.
Prepare client reports and invoices.
Respond to emails.
Dealing with new Customer enquiries.
Assist in organising and maintaining files and records.
Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently – good attention to detail is essential.
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

Our requirements are:
Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role.
All applicants must have GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
Proficient in office software applications such as Microsoft Office and Excel.
Ability to type accurately and efficiently is essential.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Knowledge of Book keeping and Quickbooks would be an advantage although not essential as full training will be given.

Job Type: Part-time
Starting salary: £11.50 per hour (reviewed after 3 month probation)
