BIM Manager and Asset Information ManagerJob Type - PermanentLocation – BirminghamMy client is currently recruiting a BIM Manager and Asset Information Managerwith Rail/Station experience to join their team on a major HS2 station build in Birmingham.The successful BIM Manager and Asset Information Manager will be responsible for: To support the Information Manager and the Document Control Manager in the production and implementation of policies such as BEP and SMP, among others.To lead the production and implementation of policies related graphical data production.To actively participate in the implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE). Specifically, to provide leadership in the part related to graphical production.Administrate the graphical part of the CDE to ensure the best possible performance.To define 3D model coordination process, lead and monitor Design coordination and reviews and provide support to Lead Design Manager in delivering design.To monitor Supply Chain progress in producing graphical deliverables through the use of MIDP and MPDT.To monitor the exchange of graphical information between supply Chain, MDJV, HS2 and Third Parties.To audit and check the PIM and AIM to confirm compliance with the BEP and SMP.To assess and identify training gaps in the MDJV team and Supply Chain.To prepare and provide training in CDE and graphical tools.To coordinate BIM/CAD resources to provide graphical support to project departments.To manage interfaces between different graphical software programs. My client requires the BIM Manager and Asset Information Manager to have: Be educated to degree or higher level or equivalent in a numerate discipline, typically an Engineering discipline.Knowledge of other BIM/CAD software.Experience in CAD 3D modelling and CAD systems.Experience in CAD/BIM coordination in previous projects.Demonstrate significant experience of complex station/transport interchange infrastructure build and employment in management roles on projects of similar scope and scale, within the construction industry.Previous experience of working for major infrastructure clients typically, TfL and other UK or International organisations.A good working knowledge of the: a. BS 1192:2007b.
