We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Fakenham, Norfolk for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a full time role working 4.5 days per week with a 1:4 weekend and nights rota. Part time applications apply.

The role
- Permanent Equine and Farm Animal role. 80% Equine and 20% Farm.
- The Equine role is both ambulatory and clinic based.
- The role offers the opportunity for the Vet to focus on equine dentistry as this is a large focus within the practice.
- This is a full time role working 4.5 days per week with a 1:4 weekend and nights rota. Part time applications apply.
- Areas of special interest are encouraged and supported.
- Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.
About them:
- Purpose built Equine and Farm Animal practice.
- Sites are fully equipped with facilities including stocks, consulting room, theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, gastrocope, shockwave and laser.
- The Vet will be working alongside a team of 5 Vets and 4 support staff. One Vet holds a certificate in equine dental.
- They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.
- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
