Field Based Vehicle Technicians
£28,000 - £32,000 + overtime
Abingdon - with travel around the UK
We are currently in search of a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our client's team for the following role.
Role Profile: The preferred candidate will be involved in substantial fleet installations. A mandatory requirement is the ability to work one Saturday every seven weeks, with additional remuneration provided. A valid full driving license is essential. Comprehensive training on installation procedures will be offered. We seek a motivated, well-organized individual committed to maintaining safe working practices.
Job Responsibilities: - Installation of electronic monitoring and safety systems on commercial vehicles, encompassing:
- Fleet management and vehicle tracking systems
- CCTV Live and Connected recording systems
- Ultrasonic proximity detection systems
- Digital Mirror Cameras
- AI Camera systems and Driver Behavioural Systems
- Mobile on-site work primarily focused on new vehicles from major manufacturers
- Serving blue-chip clients, including renowned names like DHL, Muller, Scania, and DAF
Working Hours and Compensation: - Comprehensive benefits package, including pension and private health care
- 45-hour working week with overtime compensation
- Evaluation at the 3-month mark, followed by annual reviews
- Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
