Group Supply Chain Manager

• Global Leading Design & Manufacturer of HVAC Equipment
• Hybrid role
• Leading HVAC Distributor & Contractor
• £60,000 basic salary
• South East of England; Kent, London, Essex etc.

We are pleased to announce we have Retained a Global Leading Design & Manufacturer of HVAC Equipment, who are looking for an accomplished and visionary individual to play a pivotal role in supporting the Group’s ambitious profitability growth plans. The successful candidate will lead the Group procurement function, focusing on developing high-quality supplier networks, meeting operational requirements, overseeing disciplined inventory control, and ensuring the successful on-time, better than budget delivery of our projects-based business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Onboard and maintain all suppliers in accordance with Group policies.
• Develop a Group-wide procurement strategy considering international and multi-dimensional business requirements.
• Maintain and execute an ever-green pipeline of direct & indirect procurement spend reduction initiatives.
• Support product development and engineering teams in component selection and procurement.
• Collaborate with project managers on positive recovered project margin initiatives.
• Develop Group-Wide key component stocking requirements to meet current and anticipated product demand profile.
• Manage Stores and Inventory Control function within the business.

Education & Experience:

• Extensive experience in a similar leadership role, with a minimum of 3+ years at a senior buyer level and experience in managing a small team .
• (M)CIPS qualified is essential .
• Essential procurement experience within engineering and manufacturing.
• Proficiency with all MS productivity tools.
• Sound working knowledge and experience within MRP modules, of wider enterprise programs.

Other Requirements:

• Ideally, live within the South East of England.
• Clean UK driving license.
• Mobile, with the ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
