Job description
TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a Tax Trainee to join a fantastic local firm of accountants in Sevenoaks. You will have 12 years of tax or accounting experience and be looking to build a longterm career with an exceptional accountancy practice. This is a mixed tax position with a cis towards corporate tax where you will be exposed to a range of interesting taxes including EIS EMI R&D VAT etc.
You will work alongside a very experienced tax team and have the opportunity to progress in your career whilst studying towards a professional qualification ATT/ CTA/ ACA or ACCA.
As a Tax Trainee you ll start by learning the fundamentals including carrying out technical tax research producing tax computations advising clients on their tax requirements and liaising with HM Revenue & Customs. As your technical knowledge commercial acumen and confidence grow you ll have the opportunity to begin advising clients on their tax affairs and assist them with planning.
