In this role, you will join a dedicated team of teachers in a highly regarded school. As the RT teacher, you will be responsible for delivering Religious Studies (RT) lessons to students. You will play a vital role in promoting an understanding of different cultures, religions, and ethical beliefs, and fostering respect and tolerance among students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive RT lessons to students.
- Develop and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with the school's objectives and educational standards.
- Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and analytical skills within the subject area.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies or a relevant subject area.
- Relevant teaching experience in Religious Studies.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of different religions, cultures, and ethical beliefs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in learning.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic educational environment.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational advancements.
