Exciting Opportunity: Project Manager – Marine

Location: Antrim, Northern Ireland

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum

A leading specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with decades of experience and a reputation for excellence and innovation across various sectors is seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to join their Marine team based in Antrim, Northern Ireland

Role Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project budgets and ensure adherence.
• Ensure work is carried out to client specifications.
• Effectively manage project resources including staff, labour, and materials.
• Liaise with clients and their agents to advise on progress and resolve issues.
• Implement Company Operations and Safety Management Procedures.
• Set up site administration systems to accurately record and document site records.
• Establish clear targets, reporting processes, and procedures.
• Monitor financial performance of the project and minimise costs.
• Develop proactive relationships with clients and participate in value engineering.
• Maintain a high standard of safety throughout the project.

Requirements:

• Experience in construction, preferably with interior fit-out projects.
• Background in joinery or equivalent third-level education preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure.
• Great attention to detail, commercial acumen, and cost control skills.

Location and Travel:

The role is primarily office-based in Antrim, with travel required to lead projects to successful delivery for the client.
