Job description
This is a new post,the post holderwill need to set up a process to monitor and spend across the service. The purpose of the job will to be ensure compliance on all grants and spend for the Safer Communities service. The post holder will need to ensure all records on funding and grants are kept up to date for both teams. The post holder will need to ensure we claim any funding opportunities we are entitled to so they will need to keep up to date with any government schemes on this area of work.
To make sure we are achieving our grant funding KPI’s as a service and to raise any concerns. Will need to monitor the progress of projects to ensure they’re meeting the agreed outcomes as set in any funding instructions.
Prepare reports and complete evaluation data returns for funders and ensure we meet audit standards when it comes to bookkeeping and recording information.
Build and manage relationships with grant funders and maintain communication to maximise long-term support. Monitor statutory funding opportunities and submit applications and reports. Work closely with the Home Office / DLUHC and our in-house accounting team to ensure any delta returns and evaluation forms for grants / funding are completed.
Attend any grant / funding meetings with funding providers and ensure compliance with funding instructions.
Accountancy experience and AAT accreditation will be required for this post.
This is a 2 year fixed term post. Full time.
