About the Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager and working as part of a small team you will work closely with our operational teams to ensure we consistently manufacture high quality products. You will work with our supplying sites to address quality issues and support a continuous improvement environment. A key part of this role is your ability to coach and develop operators to understand the importance of quality and be able to identify and address issues. This is a fixed term contract until the end of April 2025.

What You Will Do

In this role you will

• Assure safety & legal compliance for products
• Assist with certification (ISO-9001 & BRC) and customer audits
• Perform detailed root cause analysis on quality issues and customer complaints and develop robust action plans to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with other Essity supplying mills to provide feedback on material quality and develop action plans to improve
• Develop and improve standards for quality measurement in production
• Perform internal audits to schedule
• Support operations in achieving a continuous improvement environment by identifying best practice and championing change
• Assist with the validation of new products

Who You Are

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate the following essential skills and knowledge

• Previous experience in a similar industry (FMCG) operating at similar level
• Practical knowledge of HACCP, FMEA, etc.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.), SPC.
• Experience of ISO9001-2015
• Qualified to internal or lead auditor ISO 9001
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to coach and develop others
• A detail focused approach with strong organisational and planning skills
• The ability to analyse data and provide meaningful insight
