Job description
We have a great opportunity within The Richmond Fellowship Scotland for a Team Manager to join our dynamic management team in Glasgow.
This Team Manager role will cover several services located in North and North East Glasgow.
The role will include the Registered Manager role at one of our Mental Health Care Homes that provides 24/7 support to 11 individuals who reside within the same building with a staff office based within it.
The successful candidate will also manage support to three individual support packages and a two-person support package to complete the managerial post. These packages are to provide support to individuals who present behaviours of concern. These services provide support on both 1;1 and 2;1 support ration with 24-hour staff presence including Waking nightshift and sleepovers provision.
As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for creating effective relationships with stakeholders, as well as ensuring TRFS is effectively represented with external partners. You will contribute to the strategic development and management of existing services, ensuring they meet and exceed regulatory requirements, while assisting the Area Manager to develop and implement strategic planning in line with the programme of continual development in both practice and policy.
Previous experience in management within a care setting and supporting individuals with a wide range of support needs is essential. Your strongest skills need to be leading a a team of Senior Support Workers and staff teams, focusing on measurable quality outcomes for the staff teams as well as the individuals supported.
We have an office base next to Firhill Football Stadium, a driving license and access to a car would be desirable. You will be required to have a relevant qualification for the post as defined by the SSSC- an SVQ level 4 in Care / Management.
