Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join a progressive events space and work on exciting large scale live events!
The company This large scale corporate space holds corporate and public events from conferences to awards dinners; outdoor events and festivals through to meetings and events. Due to continuous development we are now supporting their IT and AV department with the hire of an Audio Visual Technician.
The role This is a super varied role where you are involved in the preparation of AV equipment as well as rigging, installation, operations and de-rigging. From cabling to setting up for corporate events set and staging the focus is mainly on audio and video equipment. Regular maintenance and fault finding, as well as turning around the events spaces is also involved combined with briefing in external suppliers and managing kit and equipment.
About you
We are looking for a well rounded Audio Visual Technician with experience in live events and the ability to set up and operate both audio and video equipment. Candidates from a production / AV company or AV in a venue will all be considered. Fantastic role, some weekend work may be required, excellent benefits! Drivers license and car are essential.
