Finance Markets Analyst

Bromley

End of December 2024

£69,000 per annum PAYE

My high-profile banking client is seeking a motivated Prime Finance Margin Analyst to join our dynamic team on an initial contract until the end of December 2024. You will work Monday to Friday on a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days a week in their London office and 2 days remotely during the hours of 8:30 - 18:00.

Job Description:

This role offers the opportunity to provide specialised operational support for our Prime Finance Business, ensuring that the company effectively manages risk associated with client trading portfolios. As a Prime Finance Margin Analyst, you will serve as the primary point of contact for EMEA-based clients for margin-related queries.

Key Role and Daily Tasks:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Prime Finance Collateral Operations, liaising with the Prime Finance Business and external clients as necessary.


• Develop proficiency in various systems, margin methodologies, and regulatory initiatives affecting the team's operations.


• Ensure timely and accurate release of margin statements to clients.


• Respond promptly to client requests for collateral and cash releases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.


• Identify and resolve process control gaps to enhance operational efficiency.


• Collaborate with the team to automate manual processes, driving operational excellence and establishing standardized, well-controlled procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of financial markets


• Previous knowledge of data analysis


• Knowledge of traded financial products including Equities, Bonds, and Derivatives


• Strong focus on risk management and control.


• Proactive self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.


• Ability to thrive under pressure in a collaborative team environment Ability to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to drive unique solutions.


• Proficiency in navigating diverse viewpoints to determine optimal strategies.


• Experience in engaging with a diverse client base to anticipate future business needs, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.
