Job description
Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS) provides a range of high-quality Specialist Palliative Care Services to patients and their families living within the Southern Health Trust Area.
We are looking for relief housekeepers/catering assistants to join our current Bank Team and work between both departments as required. Bank work is casual/relief work offered on an ad hoc basis, as and when there are shifts available.
Applicants must have a minimum of 6-months previous experience in a health care or commercial setting and be prepared to take level 2 food hygiene training if they have not already done so.
You must have good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact well with others and have a positive work attitude.
The successful applicant will assist in all functions and tasks involved in the day-to-day catering and housekeeping departments of Southern Area Hospice premises. Duties will be carried out efficiently and effectively in accordance with agreed policies and procedures whilst ensuring high standards of practice are maintained.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks before any appointment is made.
