Job description
Following a holistic assessment, the post holder will implement therapeutic programmes of care, under the overall supervision of qualified staff Observe and report any changes in the residents health to qualified staff Assist in all aspects of residents personal care as required. Following assessment, identify residents that may benefit from using the sensory room, and encourage residents to undertake this therapy Organise social and recreational functions in the home for residents, relatives and friends, eg. birthday parties, fundraising events, bingo etc. The post holder will be creative in their approach and discuss their suggestions with senior staff. Maintain accurate and up to date records of client care, respecting confidentiality at all times. The post holder will assist in nursing duties as determined on a shift-to-shift basis by qualified staff when activities are not being undertaken in the home.
