Job description
With funding from Welsh Government, we are about to embark on our fourth year of delivering a programme of support to education staff in Wales and this role will be integral to the programme’s continued success.
Working alongside three other regional advisors, you will support the delivery of our advisory service that provides practical information, advice and guidance to schools across one of the following four regions; North Wales, South West and mid Wales, South Central Wales and South East Wales.
You will work with various stakeholders, including headteachers and wellbeing leads, equipping them to take action and to priorities staff mental health and wellbeing. You will contribute to the successful implementation of Welsh Government guidance on wellbeing and the whole school approach to emotional and mental wellbeing.
As a charity, we have ambitious plans to develop new programmes and services, increasing our reach and building our impact. There will be lots of opportunities to develop and grow your skills and you will also have the opportunity to input into our long term activity. The ideal candidate will genuinely care about mental health and will be passionate, enthusiastic, organised and keen to develop a solid foundation of skills.
Excellent relationship building and presentation skills are a must.
This is a fixed term contract until 31 st March 2025. Education Support has a good track record of being able to extend fixed term contracts and as our work continues to expand across the UK, we will be actively exploring ways to provide longer term opportunities
