Job description
The Head of Talent and People Services will play a critical role in leading the people experience, culture and values, providing direction and leadership; ensuring that the strategic and operational objectives are me and underpinning the principles of people first.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountability for the performance of the people function as well as providing strategic guidance and decision making on people matters relating to your area.
- Managing and developing team members (both direct and indirect reports), including conducting performance reviews and the setting of clear objectives.
- Take the lead on strategic workforce planning to identify current and future skills requirements and develop talent management plans to identify, grow or acquire organisational capabilities including effective resource and succession planning and new talent development schemes.
- Working with the marketing team to devise and implement recruitment plans, campaigns, and activity within agreed deadlines, ensuring that hiring managers and stakeholders are consulted and informed where appropriate.
- Work closely with the wider People team and key stakeholders to design and implement an effective on boarding programme as an end-to-end process from recruitment to end of probationary period.
- Working with leadership team to design and implement a talent strategy and road map to achieve our resource requirements for both current and future business needs
