Overview

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for an extremely well established 12 Vet, Independent, RCVS-accredited hospital that has been operating for over 120 years in the Hertfordshire area. They based centrally in a historic market town, close to all the local amenities, boasting lovely countryside while being only a short drive to Stanstead Airport.
The hospital is made up of a highly skilled team that work together to achieve the highest possible standards in patient and client care and continually invest in the latest equipment and staff training.
There are several certificate holders within the practice including surgery, medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology and Cert AVP along with advanced practitioners in surgery and Medicine. They have a fantastic case load and clinical freedom is actively encouraged.
As you would expect with an RCVS accredited Hospital, it is extremely well equipped, facilities include:
ASIF, mono/bipolar cautery, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitors with capnography, digital x-ray, rigid and flexible video-endoscopy, doppler ultrasound, 24 hour in-house laboratory, tonometry, operating microscope and slit lamp.
They also have a fully equipped dental suite with a high speed dental drill, dental x-ray and loupes. There is an onsite hydrotherapy and laser therapy.

The Rota:
• Rolling rota comprised of a 4-day week.
• 1 in three weekends Sat/Sun 09.00 -12.00
• No OOH
• Allocated lunch breaks and admin time
The Candidate:
Ideally at least 6 months experience. If you are a confident and dynamic Veterinary Surgeon with a friendly manner, then you will be an ideal fit.
