Job description

Support Acorns Children's Hospice Digital Marketing Team to reach more life-limited and life-threatened children in the West Midlands, using your digital marketing skills and expertise.

What will you be doing?

At Acorns Children’s Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, from our three hospices, in the local community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their child’s life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.

As a Digital Marketing Volunteer, you'll:

• Work with our Digital Marketing Team to maximise engagement through online platforms like our website and social media
• Create digital content through sourcing and editing images
• Brand promotion
• Analyse the performance of campaigns
• Use WordPress to edit our website

What are we looking for?

We're looking for experienced volunteers who have:

• used WordPress to customise and create websites
• a history of creating successful social media campaigns, including sourcing images and creating copy
• the ability to edit images
• used Google Analytics to provide insights
• are happy to work with companies or teams to update our digital space
• SEO experience

What difference will you make?

Through our Marketing Strategy we want to reach out to more life limited and life threatened children and their families to let them know about the support that we offer.  We also want to continually promote our brand to supporters, donors and volunteers, who help us to fund the care that we provide. You'll be part of making this happen.
