OOH/ Night Vet - Derbyshire

Purovets are looking for an OOHs veterinary surgeon to join the team at a Tier 3 hospital status practice with a fantastic local reputation. The position is for a permanent veterinary surgeon working on a 7 on 14 off rota within the stable 17 Vet team.
They are fully equipped with all the latest equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, comprehensive in-house laboratories and much more. They offer a 24-hour service, utilising an experienced dedicated night team. They pride themselves on providing the best first opinion veterinary care to their patients, utilising their heavily experienced veterinary team in a multi-disciplinary approach. They have certificate holders in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging and ECC. They emphasise a team approach and developing the individual. The practice currently consists of 17 vets, 23 nurses and 16 support staff.
The rota is 7 nights on, 14 nights off. You will be working from 6:30pm to 9:15am from Monday to Friday, 5:45pm to 10am on Saturdays and 5:45pm to 8am on Sundays. There is a second on-call rota should you need assistance during the night.
You will be working in Long Eaton, a beautiful town situated midway between Nottingham and Derby. With easy access to the M1, Long Eaton also features its own train station, great bus service and only a short distance from East Midlands Airport, making this a fantastic opportunity for commuters!
Role:
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE

- Saturdays, 5:45pm 10:00am
- Sundays, 5:45pm 8:00am
