Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm of chartered accountants who are now looking to add an Accounts Semi Senior to the growing team in their Leamington Spa office.
As an Accounts Semi Senior your role will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. The workload will include the preparation of draft statutory accounts as well as corporation tax, bookkeeping and VAT work.
The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified or at the latter stages of their studies or may have already commenced their ACA or ACCA studies. Prior experience of working in practice is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax computations and returns
Completion of client bookkeeping
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and work well within a team.
Communication with HMRC on behalf of clients
Skills:
AAT Qualified or Part Qualified (ACA or ACCA students will be considered)
Experience of undertaking a varied practice role
Up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards
