About the Role
The Humbleyard Practice is seeking two experienced Medical Note Summarisers to work within the Coding/Administrative support team at their Cringleford Surgery. Working hours can be full time (37.5 hours) or part time, with flexible working patterns considered and will be discussed at interview.
The successful candidates will be part of a team who have a fundamental role in the surgery of processing all incoming correspondence about patients from hospitals, community services and other healthcare organisations.
You will summarise and code this correspondence in order that it can clearly be seen on the patients record. We use SystmOne for recording our clinical data and you will also be involved in summarising the past medical records of newly registered patients to the practice.
About the Candidate
To be successful in this role you will require a sound knowledge of medical terminology and ideally previous experience working as a notes summariser in general practice. Thoroughness, and a strong level of attention to detail are paramount for this role.

We are a large, semi-rural, dispensing, research and GP training Practice operating over three surgery sites (Hethersett, Cringleford and Mulbarton) just to the southwest of the fine city of Norwich. We have a fast-growing list size of 22,000 patients and we are part of the 5-practice Kett’s Oak Primary Care Network.
