Blossom Daycare are currently seeking Childcare Assistants to provide a high standard of care for children in the setting. Successful applicants will agree to vetting process before taking up the role..

Responsibilities

• To provide high standard of care for children in Blossom.
• Assisting with children's daily routines, engaging with the children in play and creative activities.
• Engaging in play and creative activities with the children.
• Ensuring children are stimulated in a creative and positive environment.
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
• Dealing with queries from parents/carers.
• Conducting general cleaning duties as required.
• Working within a team.
• Assisting the supervisor in maintaining a safe and positive environment.
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willing to take on Child Protection training and First Aid training which will be funded by Blossom Daycare.

Desirable Skills

• NVQ Childcare Level 2.
• Experience working with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity.

Further Information

The Employer is: BLOSSOM DAYCARE. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16/17yrs £5.28, 18/20yrs £7.49, 21/22yrs £10.18, 23/24yrs £10.42 per hour.
