We have an exciting opportunity for Deputy Manager to to join our team.

Hampton is one of our most beautiful and boutique care homes situated Southport. This is a home full of love, happiness and warmth, feelings which are reinforced by our friendly, professional care staff. All of our staff are committed to providing unique person-based care to help our residents live independently and with dignity. Our elderly care service consists of 24-hour residential care, as well as short-term respite and day care.

About the role

Supporting the General Manager in the day to day operation of the service, deputise in their absence and be responsible for the direct supervision and line-management of staff. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of care. Promoting independence and choice to our residents.

Key skills and experience required for this role:

• Level 3 or more in Health & Social Care
• Experience of providing direct personal and social care
• Experience of managing a team 
• To work flexibly in accordance with rostered hours
• Effective multi-tasking and prioritisation
• Dementia Care qualification (Desirable)
  
• Experience of managing a large team and home
• Excellent leadership skills
• Confident in multi-disciplinary, stakeholders discussions and meetings
• Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders
• Strong IT skills
