Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver, Mansfield
Location: Mansfield
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Mansfield. This position is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to showcase their skills in the Driving industry.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Loading, unloading, and securing goods as required
- Checking vehicles for any defects or issues, reporting and recording any findings
- Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license with a minimum of 2 years' driving experience
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) certification
- Digital tachograph card
- Excellent knowledge of local and national driving regulations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, if required
