We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at MRC LMB Cambridge, Biomedical Campus, Francis Crick Avenue, Cambridge, CB2 0QH
⦁ £10.82 per hour
⦁ Full time – 35 hours per week
⦁ Monday - Friday
⦁ Shifts 7.30am – 3pm
⦁ Free meals on duty

⦁ Assisting Chefs in basic preparation and cooking of food
⦁ Making hot drinks (Barista training will be given)
⦁ Customer service, using the till and cleaning of counters as and when required
⦁ Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas within the site.
⦁ Potwashing
⦁ Cleaning and sterilizing counter tops, walls and sinks
⦁ Assisting with daily and weekly deep cleans
⦁ Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas
⦁ Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them in the correct external bins
⦁ Previous experience in catering is desirable but full training will be given to the candidate
⦁ Customer focused and a good communicator
⦁ Excellent team player
⦁ DBS required
