Dispensing Optician

What we’re looking for;
You’ll need to be a qualified GOC registered Dispensing Optician with the drive, passion, and the willingness to build an ongoing successful business. As part of the team, you’ll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence, you’ll demonstrate good attention to detail, along with a passion for the community where you are working.
As a Dispensing Optician - you're highly-skilled professional who will advise on, fitting and supplying the most appropriate glasses, taking into account each customer’s visual and lifestyle needs. Advising on lenses for night driving, UV protection, VDU/PC use, prescription sunglasses, low-vision aids, dry eye, sports and safety eyewear. And play an important role in advising and dispensing to customers, who are partially sighted, as well as to children, where appropriate.
Teamwork also forms a big part of your job, so the ability to work well with others is essential. Helping to mentor and train your colleagues will be required as and when, without knowing it - you'll probably find they'll be watching you and asking for advice..
What’s on Offer?
An annual salary £30K - bonus (OTE) £36K
Holiday allowance of 33 days per year .
GOC & ABDO fees paid-for ! With a focus on flexibility, helpfulness, we are looking for full-time applicants and some flexi working pattern to suit you are available.
