Senior Project Manager / Software / Stakeholder Management / Financial Services / DevOps / Agile / Hybrid / Hampshire
I am lucky enough to be working with a leading Financial Services firm based in Hampshire, due to growth they are looking to engage with a senior project manager on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity with a growing business if you are looking for a new year role this could very well be the one for you. This is a hybrid role please only apply of you are commutable to Hampshire and willing to go to the office 2-3 days a week. This is only open to candidates who have been in the UK for the past 5 years due to fit and proper checks.
- You will demonstrate an understanding of the business requirements for the project and define the deliverables, resource requirements and plan to deliver the project.
- You will act as the primary customer liaison, develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Set project priorities and manage, monitor, and motivate the internal delivery team(s) and ensure effective delivery of the project to time, cost and quality expectations.
- Actively manage key project risks, issues, and dependencies, and ensure project delivery to contractual terms and conditions.
- Prepare standard project documentation such as RAID logs, project plans, reports, revenue/cost forecasts vs actuals, change requests and statements of work.
- Management of monthly customer invoices and reports
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience managing multiple projects.
- Experience in both the software and financial services industries (Mandatory)
- A team player with strong communication skills
- A proven track record of successful software project delivery through the full project lifecycle
- Solid background in Agile software development and delivery principles, and using Agile project tools such as Azure DevOps
- Ability to organise workloads, effectively prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing and motivating cross-discipline teams (Business Analysts, Developers, Testers)
- Efficient and effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
- Strong technical understanding and comfortable working in a technical environment
- Experience managing software delivery using Azure DevOps (Advantageous not mandatory)
