Legacy Strategies are hiring on behalf of our client in the construction industry for the position of Mechanical Engineer . Our client is looking for someone who brings a wealth of experience in mechanical engineering and is ready to become a vital part of the team. As an integral part of the team, you will play a crucial role in advancing innovative product development, guaranteeing adherence to rigorous standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, analyse, and optimise mechanical systems and equipment to meet operational needs.
- Ensure that all designs and developments are adhering to UK standards and industry requirements.
- Make sure that safety standards are complied with at all times.
- Actively research new technological advancements to ensure improved performance and up to date industry knowledge.
- Provide technical support and guidance to others within the company.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- Work well within a team as well as independently.
- A strong understanding of CAD software.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive industry knowledge and experience.
- A strong understanding of UK regulations and in depth industry standards.
