Job description
Youth Engagement Worker, 12 hours per week, mainly evening work including some weekends. Outreach detached and group work to support young people's personal and social development and contribute to good relations and community cohesion. Based in Ardoyne.
Ardoyne Youth Enterprise is recruiting a part-time Youth Engagement Worker towork directly with young people through outreach/detached work and programme delivery to develop their social education.
Through needs assessment and in consultation with the local community, the person appointed will be responsible for the creation of opportunities and initiatives focussed on group work, community relations, gender work and other areas relating to the youth work curriculum.

Salary: £6,748.56 (£20,808.06 pro rata – JNC pt 7)
Hours of work: 12 hours per week but willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends essential. Indicative work pattern – three shifts per week with rotating weekends.
This is a permanent post, however it is dependent on future funding, which is currently secured until March 2025.
