The Pennine Network is seeking an experienced leader to join the Urgent Care Pathway (UCP) as a Service Manager. This is an exciting opportunity and the successful candidate will be part of an evolving service that has the needs of service users at its heart. We are looking for someone who demonstrates the characteristics of a high performing leader to come and join a forward thinking, dynamic and a constantly developing team.
The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of services within the UCP; they will ensure that service lines are meeting their quality, operational and performance targets which will be monitored and tracked. The post holder will lead, develop and manage teams within the UCP portfolio to ensure that services deliver high quality care to the local community.
The post holder will be required to form effective working relationships both internally and externally, working collaboratively with other service managers and the Integrated Care Board. Effective communication and interaction will also be required with other networks and with external stakeholders such as the Voluntary, Community, Faith & Social Enterprise (VCSFE) sector. The post holder will work in line with the Trust’s strategic objectives and will be expected to make a positive contribution to the provision of mental health and learning disability care.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
