Description :

Our professional client based near Ware are recruiting a warehouse operative to join their energetic, family run business. This is an exciting time to join our expanding company and is an ideal role for someone already working in a warehouse environment.

Warehouse Operatives are at the heart of what our client does…from the moment an order is placed to the moment it is in the customer’s hands - it will be your job to receive, pick, create, pack, sort and ship parcels. You’ll be expected to work to the highest standards to make sure the company exceeds customer expectations.

The working hours are Monday to Friday – 7am to 4.45pm (30 minutes for lunch). This role offers an attractive salary of £27,000 plus company bonus scheme, free on-site parking, company pension, free lunch, employee discount, flexible schedule, sick pay and wellness programmes.

Due to our client’s location, candidates must have their own mode of transport.

Tasks & Responsibilities
It will be your job to receive, pick, create, pack sort and ship parcels.

The job includes (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
• Offloading goods from vehicles or sorting.
• Bringing items into the building and checking what has been received from suppliers.
• Placing stock in a specific place until they are ordered by a customer.
• Picking: selecting items for a customer order.
• Packing: packing the items to be shipped to a customer
• Shipping: preparing freight for dispatch and loading vehicles.
• Clean & tidy: working together to ensure the warehouse environment is clean and tidy and a safe place to work in.

You may also be given additional or different tasks as part of your day-to-day job.
