Interim Finance Manager
Salary up to £55,000 dependent on experience
6 month secondment
FT 35 hours per week
Hybrid - Ashford 1-2 days per week
We are looking for a proactive, Interim Finance Manager to join our established team for a period of 6 months. You will take responsibility for finance data analysis and reporting of several key areas across our Cruise business. Duties will include taking ownership of the MI function of the finance team and support with several areas of reporting.
You will be required to have experience in a similar role and partnering with the business on several areas of keys costs.

Ownership of the internal MI reporting and data analysis function within the finance team.
Supporting the business with updating sales forecasts on a regular basis.
Responsibility for Travel insurance returns and associated reporting.
Preparation of Crew Payroll.
Business Partnering for several cost centres – Crew Payroll, Technical, Marketing and Entertainment.
Submission of actual results and forecast into the group consolidation system (Cognos Controller experience beneficial).
IFRS 15 journal postings across the Cruise function.
Ad-hoc management accounting tasks at month end.
Supervising three direct reports.
Supporting other requests, such as preparing financial due diligence checks for potential suppliers.
Assist with implementing process improvement and proactively progressing/coordinating any actions.
A recently qualified or experienced part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
Strong communication skills are essential, being one of the primary points of contact within a small team and communicating directly with customers.
Experience managing a small team (you will be managing a team of three in this role)
Accuracy and the ability to self-review is key.
Exposure to group consolidation and reservation systems.
Experience in analysing data.
Flexible and able to manage multiple work streams and to cope under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Identify training needs to resolve gaps in knowledge and skills.
Historical experience in a similar role
Proficient with MS Office applications
Provide evidence of having previous experience picking up and learning new systems.
