2 x vacancies:

  1. 30 hours per week • 8.30am to 3pm • Monday to Friday
  2. 22.5 hours per week • 8am to 4pm • Three days per week

The Role

We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and highly motivated Art, DT & Food Technicians to assist within our Design, Technology, Food and Art departments.

Responsible to the Curriculum Team Leader, the purpose of the role is to provide support to all teaching staff in the Art, DT and Food departments. The post holders will prepare and provide all materials for lessons, ensure stock levels are maintained, ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, undertake administration tasks, cleaning of equipment and facilities, conduct regular checks of all Art DT & Food equipment and support students and teachers on the practical elements of the curriculum. The post holder is required to liaise with other Technician team members to ensure consistency of work tasks across the department.

The successful applicant must be willing to be trained in the operation and maintenance of DT equipment and machinery and must also have an understanding of food and food preparation. The DT tasks include the requirement for occasional heavy lifting of materials/resources.

The Corsham School is part of a small Multi Academy Trust serving the market town of Corsham and surrounding villages. It is situated in North Wiltshire, on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, 8 miles from Bath and within easy reach of the M4.
