Te tūranga - The Role
This is a cross-functional role, working as part of a team that is responsible for providing both commercial and legal support for business-as-usual activities, as well as specific projects together with tender and sales contract support for the New Zealand and Asia Pacific regions. This role is based in our head office in Christchurch.
Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, also based in Christchurch, this role will provide significant autonomy and allow you to take on responsibility for a variety of tasks, engage with a range of functions across the organisation, and work closely with our Management and Leadership Teams.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has very strong commercial acumen, good practical legal skills, is willing and able to learn, can comfortably communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business, and has a positive, can-do attitude.
This role will have you taking responsibility for a wide range of work which will include predominantly corporate and general commercial matters. The ideal candidate will be confident and able to operate autonomously and self-sufficiently without the need for significant supervision.
Ideally you will have had some experience working both inhouse and in private practice, with ICT and experience with complex radio/ICT/technology and IP contracts a significant advantage.
We are open to discussing flexible working patterns, however as this is a busy role, a full-time working pattern is preferred.
