We're seeking a dynamic Facilities Project Manager to join our team, in this role, you'll spearhead a range of projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency, safety, and functionality of our new facility. From coordinating renovations to implementing sustainability initiatives, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our spaces meet the evolving needs of our organisation.

  What will you be doing?

• Manage the Facilities team, recruitment, training and development, and annual appraisals.
• Deliver tactical and long-term projects to reduce utility consumption, improve working environment and manage the installation, commissioning and decommissioning of equipment.
• Work in conjunction with landlords and estate presence to ensure appropriate security measures are in place, including fire systems, intruder alarms and surveillance systems.
• Ensure compliance with, and implementation of all policies and procedures that impact on the delivery of effective health and safety systems, including data protection.
• Devise and develop processes and plans, to meet KPIs including safety, wellbeing measures, employee satisfaction, and report out of effectivity.
• Own the facilities budget through planning and cost justifications incorporating best practices to manage and reduce costs.
• Ensure all infrastructure, environment and equipment is maintained and inspected to meet regulatory standards, and records kept demonstrating compliance.

What do we need from you?

• Proven track record of the full life-cycle of creating a new facility
• Key stakeholder management
• Experience with budgeting / costing would certainly be useful.
• Experience with HS&E, ideally holding  IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) qualification
• Ideally IWFM Level 4 or equivalent

We’ve completed multiple technology validation programmes (with the European Space Agency, Airbus, Jaguar Land Rover, BAE Systems, F1 Teams) and are in the process of executing on the first production opportunities with leading OEMs. We’re edging towards becoming a significant scale-up with growth plans that will see the business multiply in size over the next 2-3 years and expand operations into Europe and the US!
