Service Charge Accountant
South-West London
Up to £42,000 DOE
Cobalt is working with one of the market leaders in Residential property for the London area, covering everything from Block Management to BTR. The business has also been growing their Commercial Assets across London for over 20 years and are now looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join their Finance Team.
This role is perfect for an individual with previous experience working with a Residential or Block Management business in a similar position and is familiar with the complete Service Charge process.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of the annual Service Charge budget.
Attending Client meetings when required.
Reconciling financial reports and balances on a quarterly basis.
Carrying out Year-end procedures including Trial Balance reports, Income & Expenditure, and Section 20b notices.
Preparing monthly client reports both standard and bespoke.
About You
Previous experience working in Service Charge Accounting position, ideally within Block Management.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Advanced Excel skills - Vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables and if statements
