Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Boston

Start Date: After Easter Half Term

Salary: £80.00 – £90.00 per day  


GSL Education are seeking qualified candidates to work as  Higher Level Teaching Assistant in our client school based in  Boston.  This role is suitable for someone who is residing in the UK and have valid right to work here and willing to teach in primary level schools. In addition, the selected and suitable candidate will start working after the Easter Half term. You must have an enhanced DBS (child workforce) registered on the Update Service  or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.



Responsibilities may include:

• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
• Work closely with teachers, other teaching assistants, and educational professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective learning environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance their skills and knowledge in education.
• Supervise classes and support students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment by implementing behaviour management strategies.
