Job Specification
As a Utility Surveyor you will plan and execute differing sized projects and manage timescales. You will have a thorough understanding of the application of Health and safety and QA and must be able to work methodically using your initiative to problem solve and liaise with clients when necessary.
You should have the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner and brief other members of the survey team. The ability to recognise problems and recognise if these are within your ability to solve or to refer to more senior staff is essential for this role, as is the ability to plan and execute small to medium sized surveys involving several survey teams.

Experience /Skills required
Essential:
• Experienced in use of Electromagnetic location\nand ground penetrating radar, along with the use of total stations and GNSS\nacquisition.
• A good understanding of common industry\npractices and standards in regard to utility detection, such as PAS 128 and TSA
• Good working knowledge of surveying equipment,\nsuch as GPR, CAT and genny utility detection equipment
• Flexibility to travel to our sites nationwide.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team and deal\nwith clients on site.
• Clean & Full driving License
Desirable:
• CSCS Card folder (This will be required before\nstarting work)
• GPR Post Processing Experience
• AutoCAD / N4CE experience
• Utility Surveying Experience
• QCF Level 3 or Level 5 for utility mapping
